Yes it's that time of year again oh and it's NOT FRIDAY Stupid idiot Rob doesn't even know his own flippin' birthday. It's SATURDAY ROB!!!!!! Geeze!!!! The 30th remember?

"Hey I look thin in this picture what gives?" Rob asked when he saw this picture. The face is certainly long but well... ah I know it's the camera angle. You've used that old trick too many times in the past Rob.

Also wash your hair. I know you say you have but I can't see it. Oh I see it's the lack of light in the room or something.

We've seen the new trailer for the new Bond film via imdb.com . It looks interesting though may still be completely stupid like the last one. Still you can see wee moments from the book in there but keep in mind the books and the films are very different. For one thing the books are a lot slower and full of things like: Bond get's up and explores then meets a friend then has a drink blah blah blah. Still very exciting and gripping when it nears the end getting more interesting after Thunderball.

Still who could forget the last film. From the very beggining you can tell just how bad it is going to be. Just the site of the bullet flying through the gun barrel towards the screen. What? Don't you just hate it when directors want to try new things to impress without using a little bit of common sense so the effect has people sitting there thinking: "er ok...why?" Not to mention the enterence of Bond. Now he could enter the film in various ways. Coming in on water now he could swim in. He could be in some kind of wee sub like the old croc thing. No he surfs in. Right now he's an expert surfer. Sheesh. The use of a mobile phone camera to id him. Obvious advert there. "this phone was in the film buy it." And who could forget the terrible theme tune. This film was baaaaaad.

ROBONTHENET'S 2ND ANNIVERSARY

And so we enter the third year.


Has it really been two years ago when the first post was placed online?

14th September 2004.

This seems to be a pretty uneventful day in history meaning that nothing vitual that people learn in schools seems to have happened. But aside from this, the date 14/09/04 (or to Americans 9/14/04) is the date when Rob charged onto the internet without a flippin clue about what he was doing. Also at a rather busy time of his life. We have seen many many changes including Thelandofrob since then and there shall be many more. May the third year of Rob be a year of change, excitment and insanity. Oh and bad Egnlish and spelling mistakes.

The first post

Although this is the first offical post there was another posted before but was deleted. Saddly what what written on it has been lost forever but its contents were similar to what is there now.

Report on the last year

This has been a very productive year. A sister site that for a time took over Robonthenet. It included a, seeminly, popular story about the adventures of Sid the giant head. This story suddenly stopped because Rob was concerntrating on other issuses which included videos and Fromrobtosob.
Speaking of the videos, Rob's very first attempt at making a film using a camera was finaly posted on Rob's videos. After promising to post it in June Rob tried to work to the last mintue to fit both halfs into one as the film was ment to be. But after taking too long to make he was forced to post only part one as was his backup plan. Unfortunitly the video file must have been too large for the uploading as the programme constantly crashed when nearing completion of transfer. It was to Rob's surprise that one of the attempts had made it through and was found two months later in August. With constant problems it's a mirical the lego film was completed at all.
The film seems to have been met with approval by the visitors of this site which is a relief. The story of the making of the lego film has been planned to be written up after the second half has been released which has been planned to to be some time this winter which frees up time to work on other projects.

The future

The next year will see some changes. For a start the side bar has been put together a while back when less was known about how the coding worked. After the work on ThelandofRob we have learnt more and hope to greatly improve the quality of the sidebar and, if possible, other parts of the site. If you use Mozilla Firefox like Rob as an inernet browser then you'll see just what I mean.
Also we intent to find uses to the failed new website. Our plans are to transform it's numerous pages into subpages for the two main site of Rob. For example: a seperated page for Rob's montly challenges.
We also intend to post more chapters of the many adventures of Sid the giant head so the story can reach its conclusions and possible sequels (depending if there is a demand for them).
There is also a rough plan for a live action film starting Rob some time in the furture. The film shall be known to you as project trevile. It's real title and plot shall be left a mystery to you until plans are made for the filming of it. As I said it is only a plan and may infact never be made at all as it is only in the second stage of being writen.
There is also more planned right now but nothing as yet confirmed. So keep reading Rob's words and we'll see what the future holds.

Yes it's Rob again and there is a party in the streets greater than any you've ever seen and here in the Land of Rob there are none saddly. Ha ha. Had to use that joke, it was the law they made me.

You may have never heard this but this is in fact quite an exciting time to be alive. A new world of uncertainness... erm... ness. Changes here and changes there that will change everything. Stuff like global warming doom threats and so on. Yes sir the new centutary has really kicked off now and we're the future and all that over the top excitingness that comes after spending days and days in the sun.

Two years!!!

The second anniversary of Robonthenet is near. Imagine two years of Rob and his poor english. Only two days until then people. There's going to be some changes to Robonthenet. Not big ones just Rob's finaly going to tidy up Robonthenet a bit. Also some facts about Rob that I bet you never knew. If this was one of those silly chatshows the audience would be wooing. Does anybody actualy watch these things? We are learning about blogger as we go and getting slowly better. We may even find a use for the old "new" website of Rob's that failed.

Terrible news!!!

Rob's camera broke!! The camera that was used to make the lego film and all those photos. sniff. Well on the bright side we now have a great new camera with better light adjusting features and wait for it... manual focus. No more out of focus lego men ever again. We'll show you the inside of the old camera soon. Yes we cut it up. Funny thing happened to Rob when he did that which we'll tell later.

Robo Rogo Logo Lego!!!

The second part of the lego film isn't finished yet and Rob is already planning a spin off sequeal. Keep in mind that it is only being planned but with all that was learnt and is still being learnt about making lego animations and so on the sequeal should be so much better. Rob is already looking thorugh his old toys to see what he can use but the main plot has already been written. Also with the new camera... you get the idea.

More is being planned but you have to wait and see what is going to be thrown at you this year. Rob has said that he doesn't intend to expand the site anymore this year. Don't sulk yet. Rob meant that there are so many pages in his empire (of sorts) not being used that could be found uses. Although saying that Rob would happily open a Robonthenet.co.uk if anyone knows a cheap and non cheating host.


Just remember that no matter what happens there will always be Rob. Unless of course the internet no longer excists. But as they say: Rob finds a way.
